I moved to Seoul and two days later, a typhoon rolls in! I heard loud thunder and lightening, but with no internet or TV, I had no clue that Seoul was expecting a typhoon. Well, when I woke up to go to work, It was a site!  Trees were down everywhere! Uprooted, in the streets…. so many had fallen on base that I could not drive in. I called my boss to let him know I would be a bit late (as I had to return my car to my apartment parking lot and walk to work). Fortunately, he told me to stay home!! Due to national security (hahaha that sounds official) I couldn’t take pictures of most of the damage, but here are a few for your understanding.

So, now I have lived through tornados, hurricanes and a typhoon. Let’s not work on checking off any more natural disasters.
